Dr. Thomas J. East
Management executive Dr. Thomas J East has been an entrepreneur, CEO and President, with several years of progressively responsible experience leading and directing companies to success through start-up, mergers and acquisitions, survival, turnaround and growth modes.
Thomas has spent most of his career in distribution and contracting service organizations. His understanding encompasses wholesale, OEM, direct sales, retail sales, commercial sales, and all facets of the operations. Tom’s previous positions include extensive experience leading change in publicly traded and privately owned companies.
Thomas is a lifelong learner and holds a Doctoral Degree in Philosophy (PhD) from Capella University in the areas of organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and leadership. His dissertation work is in leadership and job satisfaction in the workplace. His Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is from Indiana Wesleyan University with a concentration on finance.
Dr. East currently serves on the Board of Keller University of Management – College of Business. He is a Visiting Professor for DeVry University providing instruction in statistics, change management, organizational behavior and leadership. Thomas was the keynote speaker for the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) 2008 National Convention and guest speaker at the 2009 at the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) National Convention. In the summer of 2012 Dr. East had the honor and privilege of delivering the commencement speech for the graduating class of DeVry University.
